In these turbulent times, it is vital that as a community, we reflect on the consequences of global events.
As a school, it is more crucial than ever to address the primary problems facing our kids, that include injustices, climate change, and hate speech.
As a beacon of education, we recognize the importance of actively addressing injustice and inequality as a community of schools, both conceptually as well as through explicit teaching, and we adhere to open dialogue with our pupils, parents, and workers in order to better educate ourselves and each other and make a positive impact on the communities we serve.

We have an explicit and deliberate charter that focuses on:
Justice
Equity
Diversity
Inclusion
Cultural Competence
J.S. International School educators and staff recognize the value of having a diverse and inclusive school community and work to ensure that all members of the community are seen, heard, and valued. Our faculty are engaged in ongoing Professional Development and Training to better understand and build on the strengths of belonging to a multicultural, diverse and inclusive community. The training focuses on further developing empathy & resilience in the face of challenges, and helps to build confidence in our faculty’s skills to adapt to an ever-changing world. This work directly leads to building the same skills in our students. The Social Justice Standards are critical for ensuring we develop and foster a more equitable and just school across all divisions and areas of school life.
